Westbury Village Hall

http://www.wotvillagehall.org
The original aim for this website was to replace the original (four page) web presence of Westbury on Trym (Bristol,UK) Village Hall with a more up to date site.

The original brief was to recreate the existing site in a manner that could be easily updated, and looked more appealing than the original. However over the initial design phase the site's aims grew. The current site is now capable of displaying avalibility (over an extensive date range) for each of the halls rooms, taking bookings and manageing the bookings via a secured admin section. Once a booking has been made via the site, all aspects are controled via the system including automated emails to all related parties.

Built using: PHP, XHTML and an extensive MySQL database backend.

Westbury College

http://www.westburycollege.org.uk
A National Trust property on long term lease to the local Church, Westbury College is used by a variety of groups ranging from the local after school club to the Air Cadets.

The brief for this site was to create a web presence with a traditional look. Along with the ability for the College's users to log in and register any issues they may be having with the building, as well as being informed of any issues the management may have.

Ferndale Mews Bed and Breakfast

http://www.ferndalemews.co.uk
Ferndale Mews is a Bed and Breakfast in Westbury on Trym, Bristol.

Their previous website had static content that had not been updated since it was created. Their Google Ranking had slumped, and they wanted to fix this.

I recreated their website in a CMS Theme, so that they could eaisly update the content and keep the site fresh. As an extra service I provided Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to help raise their Google ranking.
